What's new in Clicky Pet
Every change to the desktop app and the website that you'd notice, newest first. The app has version numbers because you keep a copy; the website is always the latest, so its changes only have a date.
App 0.2.0Website
- More parts for your pet: back hair, side hair and extras, in the same slots as BUG Clicker. The pet maker now takes all eleven, so a BUG Clicker PSD comes in whole. An older app still opens these pets, without the extra parts.
- Reminders: your pet says what you wrote, at a time you pick or after a while, like lunch at 12:30 on weekdays or the kettle in 10 minutes. Set them in the pet maker and send them to your pets. There are none until you add one.
- Change how your pet's speech bubble looks: its shape and color, in the pet maker.
- The tray menu now tells you when a new version is out, and links to this page.
Website
- A pet made from a picture now keeps the picture's pose and art. We cut your picture into parts, and the image model only draws what the picture doesn't show: the body behind the head and the other faces.
- In the pet maker, Replace on one of Clicky's parts now changes only that part, not all five.
App 0.1.1
- The app now sends anonymous stats and error reports, so we can see what breaks. Never your pets' pictures, names or lines. Untick Share anonymous stats in its menu to stop them; the Privacy Policy has the details.
Website
- In the pet maker, Remove on one of Clicky's parts now takes only that part, not all five.
App 0.1.0Website
- Clicky Pet for the desktop, first beta for Windows and Mac: a pet on your screen that you can click, pet and drag, with several out at once. Clicky, Mint and Mochi come with it. Download it here.
- The pet maker: build a pet from your own drawings, with its lines, petting icon and sound, free and in your browser.
- Making a pet from one picture is now paid first, $4.99 a pet, and there is no free preview. It comes with its lines, icon and sound, and works on the desktop. If its extra faces can't be drawn, your credit comes back.
- A Questions & ideas button on every page, to tell us what you'd like.
Website
- clicky.pet opens: turn a picture of a character into a PSD for BUG Clicker.
